Peer Review

As part of the peer review process we also offer insight into best practices and offer suggestions based on what we are seeing and hearing in the industry. Our goal is to provide our clients with a peer review that goes beyond simply meeting requirements.

Faw Casson has been a part of the AICPA Peer Review process since its beginning over 40 years ago.   We have participated in having our own firm reviewed prior to it becoming a requirement of the AICPA, and fully understand the value that a review performed by an outside resource can provide to the management team.

Faw Casson's experience includes – ERISA, Single Audits, Non-profit organizations, other audits performed under auditing standards.  We also perform engagements under Statement on Standards for Accounting and Review Serives, or SSARS (reviews, compilations and preparation engagements) and Agreed Upon Procedures.  Our firm and its reviewers belong to the Government Audit Quality Center and the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

As part of the peer review process we also offer insight into best practices and offer suggestions based on what we are seeing and hearing in the industry.  Our goal is to provide our clients with a peer review that not only meets requirements but will enhance the overall quality control and audit / financial reporting practices of their firm.
